The MEA Lounge is positioned as an extension of the Marriott hotel and operates as a shared amenity for hotel guests and the general public. The spatial program is organized to accommodate multiple modes of use. These include a restaurant zone, flexible areas for functions and events, and AV-enabled meeting rooms designed for corporate requirements. Each zone is planned to allow independent operation while maintaining visual and physical connections to the overall lounge environment.
The design integrates indoor and outdoor spaces through landscaped courtyards and terraces that create continuity between built form and natural elements. Circulation paths are arranged to provide direct access between the hotel and lounge while supporting clear wayfinding for public users. The outdoor areas are configured to support dining and informal gatherings, extending the functional capacity of the interior spaces.
The material strategy is based on natural stone and timber, applied across floors, walls, and joinery elements to establish a consistent tactile and visual identity. The color palette is derived from these materials, ensuring alignment between surface finishes and the overall spatial composition. Lighting is organized to support varied operational modes, with integrated systems for dining, events, and corporate meetings.
